The Number, provider of 118118, the UK's most popular directory service, today confirmed Mr MARK HORGAN has accepted the post of Chief Executive at The Number.

The Number is delighted to welcome Mr Horgan, who has resigned from the Board of MFI with immediate effect.
Mr Horgan will be based at the company's Headquarters in Cardiff and his appointment is expected to commence in August 2005.

Former Chief Executive CHRIS MOSS has already been promoted to Chairman, Europe, as the company expands its service delivery in markets beyond the UK.
